The Gourmet Hut offers a unique outdoor-only dining experience at the old Blacksmith’s Shop. This is a South African family-owned restaurant, founded by Wendy Relph. Great food, a friendly and professional staff – it’s the most charming outdoor garden to sit and share a meal in the sun or under the stars with the people you care about! Located just across from the St. Augustine bay front marina and the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument.

BRUNCH MENU

  • Belgian Waffles with Berries – $14 House made Belgian waffles with with berry reduction
  • Eggs Benedict – $15 Two poached eggs, Canadian bacon, Hollandaise sauce. Served with breakfast potatoes
  • Blacksmith’s Steak & Eggs – $21 7 oz filet mignon, three poached eggs. Served with breakfast potatoes and toast
  • Cast Iron Shrimp & Grits – $15 Blackened Creole seasoned shrimp served over stone ground grits. Topped with cheddar cheese
  • Smoked Salmon Lox – $18 Nova Scotia smoked salmon, red onion, capers, and cream cheese served on a toasted bagel
  • Avocado Toast – $14 Powdered with Cinnamon and sugar. Served with maple syrup and fresh seasonal berries

The Gourmet Hut offers a unique courtyard dining experience in the heart of historic St. Augustine. Our kitchen and our adjacent coffee shop are located on the corner of Cuna St, and Charlotte St, in what was the old Blacksmith’s Shop, a reconstruction of an outbuilding located on the site during the British possession of Florida. We look forward to welcoming you and your guests. Reservations may be made for parties of 8 or more.
